Events

Over the course of the year we have many exciting, fun and engaging events that both children and parents can participate in.

September / October

SeptemberEntrance Ceremony

New entrants to Junior Kinder enjoy this special opportunity to be welcomed into our Kinder level program.

OctoberOpen Day

This is the first Open Day of the school year providing parents with a great opportunity to visit their child’s class and see how much fun they are having.

Halloween CelebrationOctober

For Halloween the children wear their favourite costumes and enjoy a number of fun activities within the school.

November / December

DecemberChristmas Party / Performance

The children in each class will sing Christmas songs in a performance for their parents.

January / February

JanuaryLiteracy Week

Children will participate in a dress-up day where they have the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book character. Over the course of the week the children will read and listen to different stories by authors from across the world. Junior Kinder and Senior Kinder classes will read books and do book reports and other activities focusing on their favourite stories.

March / April

MarchSports Festival

The Sports Festival is a great day for both children and parents to participate in activities as a team. Races, games and dances are just some of the exciting events that take place on the day.

AprilEaster

In the lead up to Easter the children make crafts associated with Easter. They will make ‘eggs’ that will be hidden in the outside play area and all the children will have the opportunity to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt.

May / June

MaySummer Concert

The main event of the year, children perform songs, and act on stage. It is a special occasion for them to showcase their talents and confidence in front of an audience.

July / August

JulyCanada Day Celebration

Over the course of the week the children will complete crafts and take part in activities that help teach the children about Canada Day and why it is an important part of Canada’s history.
